A columbarium is a vertical structure for the above ground interment of cremation ashes. Columbariums are becoming an increasingly popular addition to many cemeteries. The Brewster Cemetery recently completed construction of the first columbarium in Brewster with 72 cremation niches, each of which can store the remains from one or two cremations.
We encourage you to visit the cemetery to see the new columbarium. If you are interested in purchasing a niche please use the Contact section of the cemetery web site to send us a message. The Cemetery Association will respond with current prices, a description of the process for completing a purchase, and someone will arrange to meet.
